White Sox Move on from Bobby Dalbec Amid Roster Adjustments

The White Sox have designated infielder Bobby Dalbec for assignment as part of a series of roster moves aimed at refining their lineup. In addition to Dalbec’s departure, the team reinstated Josh Rojas from the injured list, selected right-hander Caleb Freeman’s contract, and recalled left-hander Tyler Gilbert. These adjustments come as Chicago looks to strengthen both its infield depth and pitching staff.

To accommodate these changes, the White Sox placed left-hander Fraser Ellard on the 15-day injured list due to a left lat strain and optioned right-hander Penn Murfee to Triple-A. The moves reflect the team’s ongoing efforts to manage injuries and optimize its roster for the challenges ahead.
