The Wolverines capitalized on everything that could go wrong for the Buckeyes, drawing eight walks and getting hit by five pitches while sending 20 batters to the plate in a marathon inning.

Designated hitter Keegan O'Hearn and center fielder Greg Pace Jr. each made three trips to the plate during the frame, contributing to the relentless offensive surge. O’Hearn reached base via a walk, a double, and an error, while Pace singled, walked, and struck out.
