Tigers Part Ways with Manuel Margot and Kenta Maeda

The Tigers have activated outfielder Manuel Margot from the 10-day injured list and outrighted him to Triple-A Toledo after he cleared waivers. Margot was placed on waivers earlier this week but went unclaimed, meaning he will now report to the Tigers’ minor league affiliate.

Additionally, Detroit has placed pitcher Kenta Maeda on unconditional release waivers after designating him for assignment last week. Once he clears waivers, he will officially become a free agent, allowing him to pursue opportunities with other teams.
