Tigers Move on from Manuel Margot and Kenta Maeda

The Tigers have activated veteran outfielder Manuel Margot from the 10-day injured list but have outrighted him to Triple-A Toledo after he cleared waivers. Margot, who was placed on waivers earlier in the week, went unclaimed, leaving his future with Detroit uncertain as he now reports to the minor leagues.

Additionally, the team has placed right-hander Kenta Maeda on unconditional release waivers following his designation for assignment last week. Once Maeda clears waivers, he will officially become a free agent, allowing him to explore new opportunities elsewhere. With these moves, the Tigers continue adjusting their roster as the season progresses.
