Jeffrey Jon Tabaka, born on January 17, 1964, in Barberton, Ohio, was a left-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1994 to 2001. Tabaka's journey began at Kent State University, where he excelled as a pitcher and earned All-Mid-American Conference First Team honors in 1986. Drafted by the Montreal Expos in the second round of the 1986 amateur draft, Tabaka embarked on a professional career that spanned six MLB teams.

A memorable moment in Tabaka's career occurred during his time with the San Diego Padres in 1995.
